Woolaroc museum and wildlife preserve is located at woolaroc ranch road, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, it includes a museum, a wildlife preserve and a lodge. The woolaroc museum has world's most unique collection of western art and artifacts, the 3,700-acre wildlife preserve is a working ranch that houses a great variety of animals and birds, and a beautiful and historical Woolaroc lodge ranch house. Frank Phillips is the founder of Woolaroc ranch and museum. Children love visiting the animal ranch and on-site children's playground and a petting zoo.
Things to Do
- Visiting the museum is a great experience, see unique display of arts and crafts, native American pottery, blankets, beads and art collection. Explore American Indian history in paintings, sculptures and other form of arts.
- The museum displays a 1927 single-engine Woolaroc airplane that was owned by Frank Phillips.
- The woolaroc ranch house was built in 1925, the house has a beautiful architecture and unique furnishings.
- The ranch is home to 30 varieties of native and exotic animals, it is a working ranch with freely living animals. Visitors can spot American Bison, Elk, longhorn cattle, Deer, Ilamas, Ostriches and goats.
- There are many fun activities for the kids, kids can play at the playground, there are baby animals to see in the ranch, and an annual kids fest held in June each year.
- Picnic tables and covered picnic pavilions are available. Buffalo Haunt serves sandwiches, snacks, and drinks.
- The museum store stocks unique gifts, including Native American jewelry and pottery.
