Housed in our historic 150,000 sq. ft., 1930s-era, former Air Force hangar, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum maintains a collection of over four dozen aircraft and space vehicles.

Things to See & Do

With over 20 planes on display ranging from the late 30’s up to the early 70’s there is decades of history for your viewing pleasure including:

• 1970 B1-A Lancer - The B-1A was designed in the late 1960s as a new generation strategic bomber. The B-1A has a Variable Geometry wing and an electable crew module. The B-1′s wings are extended for low speed operation and swept rearward for high speed flight.
• 1943 UC-45 Expeditor - The US Army Air Corps first became interested in 1939 after foreign orders were placed for pilot training and light bomber versions.
• 1950 B-57 Canberra - This 1940′s design saw service in Vietnam as a light bomber, repeatedly attacking the Ho Chi Minh Trail and flying interdiction missions over the Mekong Delta.
• 1961 F100D Super Sabre - Successor to the famed F-86 Sabre, the F-100 Super Sabre was the first U.S. production aircraft able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight.
• 1962 F101B Voodoo - The F-101 Voodoo was originally designed as a single-seat escort fighter for the B-36 bomber. Its intended mission was made obsolete by the introduction of the B-52 jet bomber.
