The William Benton Museum of Art is located on the University of Connecticut's Storrs Campus, the museum presents art collections spanning from the 15th to the 21st centuries. The museum displays fine collection of art ranging from paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and sculptures. The museum houses more than 6,500 pieces of art, the museum is named after Connecticut senator and university trustee, William Benton. The museum officially opened in 1967. The museum offers free admission, art lovers can explore dynamic art collection all year round, the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday.
