A Valentine's Day Gingerbread house is such a great idea for a family activitiy during the cold Feburary months. With Christmas being so busy, you may not have time to get into this craft wiht the kids. Right after Christmas pick up some Gingerbread houses You can make it a red and white theme for Valentine's day
The best of this is you can use any mix of candy but here are some suggestions
1. For the roof, use twizzlers or red vine-cut them up for a thatch roof style or maybe use those Be Mine heart shaped candy for shingles.
2. Pink and Purple Jelly beans for the house trimming
3. You can use cut up twizzlers for the window trim.
