Activity Overview

Whether you are looking for a family-friendly place where the children can learn how to swim or are more interested in trying a new kind of activity such as boat racing, the Urbandale Public Swimming Pool is the place to go.

Swimming lessons are available for all ages at the Urbandale Public Swimming Pool. Choose preschool lessons for children ages 3 to 6, or go for a Parent and Child set of lessons, which allows you to enjoy swimming with your little ones. The Parent and Child classes are available for children older than 6 months.

• Bring your own boat with paddles for a B.Y.O.B race suitable for Boy and Girl Scouts and families looking for a fun activity for the weekend.
• Private swimming lessons are available with a professional instructor
• You can rent the entire pool for kids' clubs or other events with two-weeks' notice.
