Activity Overview
The Walters Art Museum offers free admission and will happily accept donations. This building has stunning architecture with stately columns, sculptures, and marble staircases and is beautifully located in the Mount Vernon section of Baltimore. Among the art on display, you will find many Egyptian Pieces, Faberge' Egg, various relics. historical artifacts and a marvelous collection of paintings collected over the period of two lifetimes by a father and a son.

- Crafts are available for kids in the lower level of the museum. The offer an art cart that you can check items out and use in the museum. It works like a library checkout of sorts.

The Walters Art Museum Insider Tips
- I highly recommend going on Thursday Night when the museum is open later. At this time there are no additional fees to view special collections
- The museum offers an audio tour which I think was very helpful in understanding the significance of the art that you see throughout the museum
- If you Park in the lot across the street, they will reimburse you in the amount of $4 with a validation stamp from the museum.
- The Walters holds special events for adults and children alike so check the event calendar often on their website.
- The Museum offers Sensory Mornings catered to people with Sensory Processing Disorders.
- You may want to limit your visits and enjoy them at a more leisurely pace, as it is free and you can come and go as you please.
