The Jewel Box in Forest Park is a greenhouse space that features tropical trees, plants, a variety of flowers and a water fountain. The jewel box is quite famous as a wedding and reception venue, the jewel box is surrounded by beautiful trees and plants and rose gardens of the Forest Park. The jewel box is a historic building, it was built by the city of St. Louis in 1936. The design of the building has a historic Art Deco design, and was designed by William C. E. Becker. The vertical glass walls of the green house rise up to a 50 feet. The jewel box is open to the public all through the week.
