Materials Needed
- A cardboard toilet paper tube
- A pencil with a metal eraser end
- A magnet
How To Do It
- Show your audience the inside of a cardboard tube and a pencil.
- Hold the cardboard tube in an upside down position while holding a small magnet hidden in your fingers.
- Take a pencil with your other hand and slip it up into the cup metal end/ eraser side first and say some magic words as you do it.
- Release your grasp on the pencil and remove your hand and the pencil will remain dangling from the cup.
- Be sure to keep the magnet hidden from your audience's view.
- Next remove the pencil and discreetly stow away your secret magnet.
- Pass around the tube and pencil for your audience to examine.
