The Arts Castle
Activity OverviewIf you're looking for a cultural activity for you and your family to enjoy in and around Columbus, why don't you make the drive north to Delaware, Ohio, where you can visit The Arts Castle? The journey from downtown Columbus to The Arts Castle only takes around 40 minutes on the I-71 as long as you don't happen to encounter any significant traffic jams. The Arts Castle is housed in a magnificent building in an Anglo-Norman style that was originally built for George and Elizabeth Campbell. George Campbell ran the Blue Limestone Quarry at the time and a lot of the materials for the building was sourced from there by his new father-in-law and business partner, William Little, who presented it as a gift for George and his daughter Elizabeth when they married. Today the building acts as an art gallery and community art center known as The Arts Castle and is open to visitors who wish to enjoy art and cultural activities in a fantastic setting. Things to Do
