Featuring a zero-depth entry, a water slide, a shaded swim area and a water mushroom, the Teachout Aquatic Center is suitable for all ages. Whether the kids already know how to swim or they want to learn, the Teachout Aquatic Center is an ideal choice for swimming in Des Moines.

The Teachout Aquatic Center is located at 2601 Hubbell Avenue and is open every day. Parking is available for all members and the center is easily accessible via public transport.

Things to Do

• Sign up the kids for swimming lessons if they do not already know how to swim
• You are welcome to bring a ball or other toys to use in water to entertain little children and make the time they spend learning how to swim so much more entertaining.
