Greater St. Louis Air & Space museum in Cahokia, Illinois was founded in 1982 and has a mission of preserving historic air craft and artifacts, and educate the visitors on air space and air craft technology. The air space museum is housed in Curtis Wright hanger number two at Saint Louis downtown airport, Cahokia, IL. The museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts, documents, photographs related to aviation and space. Museum is open to tours Friday to Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
