Activity Overview

The Springfield Museum of Art is a public art museum located in the city of Springfield, approximately 45 miles west of Columbus, Ohio. It contains a permanent collection of 19th and 20th century American and French art, and regularly features diverse exhibitions that showcase folk art, portraits, photographs, and a wide range of paintings by famous artists and local art students. It's a great place to teach your child about arts and culture due to its constantly changing exhibits, as well as the fact that admission is free for children!

• Take an art class! The museum offers art classes for little ones as well as teen and adult classes that feature stained glass, watercolors, drawing, yoga, and mixed media.
• If you're visiting the museum with a student over the age of 17, make sure they bring along a valid student ID so they can receive discounted admission.
