Soldiers and Sailors National Military Museum and Memorial dedicates museum space in a historic building to the sacrifices of war veterans. Th museum shares stories of local heroes from the civil war era to the recent military conflicts. The museum honors all those who serve in the army, navy, marines, air force, and coast guard. The museum is located in a historic building in University of Pittsburgh, PA. The museum exhibits artifacts, mementos and memorabilia sharing the stories of the war heroes. The museum is open to tours all year round Monday through Saturday.

Things to Do

• The museum showcases artifacts donated by Pennsylvania based military personnel, see the authentic civil war and world war I uniforms.
• See equipment and uniforms from the world war II and other conflicts around the world, see war equipment used in the world war I and world war II.
• There are personal belongings of the war veterans, there are art work and paintings by the soldiers in the line of duty.
• The remembrance park outside is an open space with lawns and garden.
• The gift shop sells souvenirs including shirts and caps and books.
