Activity Overview

The Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library is a unique experience for people of every age and interest—and a true discovery for anyone fascinated by Freemasonry and American history and culture.

Take a look at the history of American Freemasonry at the National Heritage Museum. The collections are composed of decorative arts, photographs, documents, and artifacts that are related to Lexington and the American Revolution.

The museum also has a library, a research facility containing Masonic materials and preserving its history. The library also contains documents on American history, culture, and the Massachusetts industry.

  • See the current exhibits which showcase decorative arts, the masonry symbols, paintings, and stage costumes to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the fraternity. You will find furniture, jewels, and silver at the Masonic Decorative Arts section.
