The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden is one of several named gardens at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The garden covers 8 acres of land that are filled with exciting attractions and fun activities that are designed for children of all ages.

Visitors to the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden can learn about nature while they play games, solve mysteries, walk in the treetops, and design creative inventions. The garden's many family-friendly activities teach children about topics such as pollination, water, plant life, animal habitats, topography, caves, earthquakes, and ancient communication.

Things to Do

• Explore the garden as a family - you can take the Petroglyph Walk which features Native American carvings that were once used to communicate information, or use the scopes on the Texas Skywalk to search the trees for bird nests and other wildlife.
• Visit Walk in the Clouds, the garden's version of a "bounce house in the air", which lets kids play while suspended over a trail in a safe netting. They can jump around, enjoy the view, or pretend to be squirrels!
• Take in a puppet show at the Puppet Theatre in the Glade! Guests of all ages will be entertained by the songs and nature tales that are performed on stage.
