Activity Overview

Printers Park Playground is one of the unique and newest playgrounds in Bronx, New York. The Press-themed playground has many GREEN features, the spray shower recycles runoff water for irrigation, the rubber flooring is made of 90% recycled material, and granite blocks are made from the remains of the west side highway and other features. Printers park playground is built on the land that belonged to the inventor of the 19th-century lightning printing press, Richard March Hoe. The park pays tribute to Hoe and other historic printers, hence the name.
