Activity Overview
Take your little ones to one of the nation's most renowned children's museums. The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia has six unique areas containing dozens of interactive displays, with four of these areas dedicated to children ages 3 and younger.
Children will delight in the discoveries they make and the experiences they have in such exciting exhibits as Rainforest Rhythm, River Adventures, Wonderland, City Capers, Flight Fantasy and more. Several days a week, the children can also participate in theater productions, art classes and music sessions.
Things to Do
Drink tea with the Mad Hatter and play croquet with the Queen in Alice's Wonderland.
Stock shelves, shop, or act as a cashier in the Grocery Store.
Repair your car and fill up the tank in the Garage.
Be an astronaut who explores the galaxy in the Flight Fantasy room.
Also, don't miss your chance to ride on the newly restored carousel, originally built in 1908.
Please Touch Museum Insider Tips
- The museum is less busy on Mondays and during the afternoons, as there are no school groups at those times.
- Rainy days are especially busy.
- Tickets are available online and at the Independence Visitor Center.
