The Pittsburgh Children’s museum has been part of Pittsburgh since 1983. This museum offers children 11 different sections and many more different activities for them and their whole family.

Things to See & Do

XOXO – Now open through September, Explore how we learn about love and forgiveness through activities that get us to feel and talk about these emotions:

The Attic - This is a room with lots to explore and learn, and a few surprises, like every great attic.

Backyard - An outdoor play space provides lots of interactive pieces by artists and designers that focus on natural elements. Open 11a to 4:30p (weather permitting)

Garage - Roll up your sleeves and explore many things that drive, fly and roll in this space!

Studio - Visit their multimedia art studio to let your creative vision loose and learn new art forms through open-ended art activities and artist-led workshops. Studio closes daily at 4:30p

• Discounts on admission include: AAA Members $1.00 off up to 5 people Active Member Card Active Military and Retired Personnel Blue Star Museums Program: Free admission for active duty military, National Guard and Reserved personnel and family (up to 5 admissions), Memorial Day through Labor Day (May 27 – Aug 31, 2014) All other times: Free admission for active and retired duty military members (military ID holder only) which includes active duty Reserve and active duty National Guard.
