Adult supervision is required for this craft because this craft is actually baked in the oven. I also always recommend having plenty of ventilation when doing any kind of plastic melting. You can also make more well thought out designs for coasters by making squares and circles on a traditional peeler bead peg board.
Materials Needed
- Perler Beads
- Cookie Spray
- Ramekin Baking dishes
How to Make It
- Spray a small ramekin baking dishes with cooking spray.
- Pour Perler beads into each of the small baking dishes and press down on the with your fingers to spread them out into one layer on the bottom only of the dishes.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, checking frequently as all ovens vary.
- Take the bowls out of the oven and allow to cool. Remove your coasters from your dishes.
