Activity Overview
Percy Warner Park is one of Nashville's hidden gem. Together with the Edwin Warner Park, the area is composed of more than 2600 acres of forest and field lands. It's a huge, beautiful park perfect for communing with nature and going on a weekend hike, picnic, or trail run.
Things to Do
- Visit the Warner Park Nature Center to know more about the park's history and the different activities that you can do while in the park. Hiking trails can go from easy to moderate so choose one that suits you. The trails are paved at some areas then goes into the woods lined with oak and maple trees. There are also plenty of animals and birds that you can observe while on the trail.
- Take the family for a day of play and picnic at the park. Picnic shelters are available for use. While preparing the food, kids can go running around the field. You can bring your pets too! Remember to call ahead for picnic shelter reservations.
- The park has horse trails so if you want to polish your riding skills, visit the equestrian center. You'll also find two golf courses inside the park.
