Activity Overview

Opened in 2005, the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum is dedicated to the remembrance of those who served their country in wartime and conflict and keeps their stories alive through veterans' own accounts, interactive kiosks and thought-provoking displays.

The museum seeks to educate the public about the sacrifices made by our military and, therefore, produces and distributes a number of films and training guides for schools.

Visitors to the museum will find a life-sized depiction of D-day along with memorabilia and personal stories from Pennsylvania natives involved in the battle. Also on display are a similar Korean War exhibit and a section on women and children's efforts during wartime.

Things to See & Do

Watch one of the museum's documentaries in the mini-movie theatre.

Listen to stories from Tuskegee Airmen, U.S. Marines in the South Pacific, and parachutists jumping into combat.

Try on an actual parachute used in combat.
