Okemo Mountain Resort is a beautiful ski resort in the South of Vermont, the ski resort is very popular with skiers obviously and families. Okemo is a prime destination for skiing in Vermont, families can enjoy skiing, as well as snowboarding. The place is crowded on the weekends, but there are more than 100 trails, and plenty of opportunities for the beginners. The resort has lodges, shops, restaurants, fitness center and the nearby town of Ludlow. The ski resort season generally lasts November through April. Activities other than skiing are offered year-round.
