Nurtured By Nature in North San Diego County is a petting zoo where your children can get unmatched animal encounters and get to learn a lot about animals and protecting their habitats. The little zoo is located in the Valley center, CA, the best part about the animal encounters are swimming with the sea otters and that activity is the most popular one and usually booked for the whole year, if you are lucky you can get a spot on cancellation of reservation. The two-three hours animal encounter is one of a kind and unforgettable. Animal encounters are available on reservation through out the year.

Things to Do

• At nurtured by nature you get to meet some of the most fascinating sea and land animals, not many swim encounters are booked to avoid animal exploitation.
• The exclusive encounter program lets you interact with and feed animals like sea otters, kangaroos, armadillo, porcupine and other animals.
• The swim & play animal encounters are limited to adults over the age of 18, animal encounters are only cancelled in case of very bad weather.
• Kids can meet and feed the other animals like lemurs, kangaroos and armadillo. Snacks are provided in between.
