Activity Overview
Niagara Climbing Center is a popular rock climbing center located in North Tonawanda, New York, which is just 15 miles outside of Buffalo. It is the only full-service rock climbing gym in the area, and features 6,000 square feet of climbing terrain with roofs, bulges, and top-outs that help climbers to develop skills that are necessary when climbing outdoors. It also offers a variety of routes and walls in order to accommodate the needs of climbers of all ages and skill levels.
Things to Do
- Visit the center and practice rock climbing! There are climbing walls for all skill levels, so you're sure to enjoy yourself whether it's your first time climbing or you're an advanced climber looking for a challenge.
- If you're new to climbing, talk to one of their friendly instructors, who are always happy to help you learn how to climb and improve your technique.
- Experienced climbers with proper training can try bouldering with the assistance of a spotter.

- If you have a Boy Scout in the family, they can participate in an interactive rock climbing program that will allow them to earn the Climbing Merit Badge during a 3-hour visit to the Niagara Climbing Center.
- Have your next family event or birthday party at the climbing center - their party packages are for climbers of all ages, and include climbing time with experienced instructors, the use of a party room, pizza, and drinks.
- Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult, but they're welcome to climb once their legal guardian has signed the liability waiver.
- If you have a student in the family who loves climbing, ask about their special student pass.
