Anthony was an inspirational leader and a dedicated woman, who fought for the civil rights and the women's right to vote in the US. The house was built in 1866 and was used as permanent residence by Susan B. Anthony for forty years. Today the house is a learning center and museum, open to public tours year-round, Tuesday through Sunday.
