The museum celebrates achievements of some prominent women in the field of visual, performing and literary Arts. The museum was founded by Wallace and Wilhelmina Holladay in 1981 and was opened to public access in 1987. The museum features a collection of 4,500 paintings, sculptures and decorative arts.
