Activity Overview
Located near to Santa Cruz the Mystery Spot is a place where the laws of physics and gravity do not apply. What is possible in this small area of 150 feet will amaze you as the seemingly impossible happens right before your eyes! This is a good old-fashioned American road side attraction; sure it won't fill your day but for a few bucks you can get some laughs from what is an innocent and fun illusion. Make sure to bring your camera for some great pics of this weird phenomenon.
Things to Do
- For your visit to the Mystery Spot you will be put in a group and led by a tour guide. You will walk into a small wooden house and your tour guide will demonstrate different strange occurrences that happen there. You can see people standing at impossible angles or watch while water flows uphill. Some of these sights are sure to leave you dizzy! And after all that you get a free bumper sticker at the end!
Mystery Spot Insider Tips
- The Mystery Spot offers free entry to active military personnel but not to their families or to veterans. Children under the age of four are also granted free entry.
- Their website says that tickets for the Mystery Spot usually sell out around noon so if you're a planning a trip think about buying a ticket online ahead of time so that you are not disappointed.
- Parking for $5 is available at the Mystery Spot but be warned that it is limited.
