Activity OverviewThe Museum of the Confederacy consists of three sites in Richmond and Appomattox, Virginia that feature numerous exhibitions related to the Civil War. In Richmond, visitors can tour a museum with three floors of Civil War exhibitions as well as the White House of the Confederacy, which was the residence of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederate States of America between 1861 and 1865. In nearby Appomattox, there is yet another museum that showcases Civil War artifacts as well as interactive exhibits.
