The museum is located in a former fire station and has a huge "great" room, which used to house the fire trucks. • Free entry for all last Sunday of each month; and members are always admitted for free.
• Free parking is available in the neighborhood directly south of Cushing Street.
• This museum holds special exhibitions throughout the year but only has a few items in its permanent collection. We recommend checking on what an exhibition's focus is before deciding on whether to visit this museum.
• The museum's entrance is hard to see on Church Avenue, as it is set way back from the street. Look for the closed fire station doors, which is the best way to identify its location.
