Activity OverviewOriginally established in 1949 in a house it grew in size and popularity so quickly it had to find a new home. Since 1949 it has relocated a number of times and is currently in the process of building a new state of the art building to be opened in 2015. This museum hosts approximately 250,000 visitors per year with no sign of slowing down. Things to See & DoSea Lab – Touch starfish or let a cleaner shrimp nibble on your fingernail. Energy Tracker – A hands on activities that let you explore the basic principles of energy. Planetarium – complete with 231 seats for you to enjoy an exact replica of the night sky.
