Activity OverviewFocusing on Spanish art, the Meadows Museum at Smu offers an excellent insight into the Golden Age of the 16th to 18th centuries. The museum was founded by Algur H. Meadows in 1965 and includes masterpieces by some of the most important Spanish painters in the history: Velazquez, El Greco, Ribera,. Goya, Murillo, Picasso and Miro. The main attraction of the museum is the main collection which includes highlights such as "Yard with Madmen" by Francisco de Goya. The museum is also home to the Elizabeth Meadows Sculpture Collection displayed on the outdoor plaza. Located on Bishop Boulevard on the edge of the Southern Methodist University campus, the Meadows Museum at Smu offers free parking for all visitors. Things to Do
