Activity Overview
Stop by and see how 400 bottles of beer are produced each minute at The Magic Hat Brewery in South Burlington. Approach the Magic Hat Artifactory's tour ramp and take a guided or self-guided tour which will allow you to peer down through the glass onto the production floor and see all aspects of the brewing process.
After your tour, order your own frothy glass at Magic Hat's Growler Bar which has 48 taps flowing and an ever-changing array of Magic Hat's premiere drinks, including year-round beers, seasonal varieties and experimental concoctions.
Things to Do
- Appreciate the creations from local artists that line the tour ramp overlooking the brewery production area. The brewery introduced this program in 2012, naming it The Magic Hat ArtSpace. The artwork can be purchased directly from the artists.
Magic Hat Brewery Insider Tips
- Self-guided tours may be taken anytime the Magic Hat Artifactory is open.
- Guided tours take place Thursdays and Fridays at 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.; and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Well-behaved dogs are said to be welcome but must stay on the artifactory floor and are not allowed on the tour ramp.
