Activity Overview

Stroll through Lincoln Homestead State Park, a stop on Kentucky's Lincoln Heritage Trail, which will show you a number of 18th-century cabins that are special to the family of Abraham Lincoln.

Visitors will find the original home of Abraham Lincoln's mother along with the blacksmith shop where his father was trained, and the home where his favorite uncle, Mordecai Lincoln, was reared.

The properties contain original furniture and fences from back in Lincoln's day which will transport the visitor back in time to the colonial and pioneer eras.
