Activity Overview
The Le Frak Center at Lakeside is a relatively new facility that makes a range of activities and events open to the general public. This 26 acre multi-purpose site is located in Brooklyn's Prospect Park and gives visitors the chance to go boating, biking, roller skating, dining and more.
Things to Do
- Bring along your youngest one for Toddler Tuesdays. For two and a half hours on Tuesday mornings they will be led through games, music and play-based activities by a qualified instructor. Juice and a snack are provided and it is mandatory that the child's guardian participates in all activities.
- Roller skating and ice skating are two of the most popular activities at the Le Frak Center. The 16,000 square foot roller blading rink has skates for all ages from toddlers to adults. They also hold classes for any age which is ideal if you are a bit unsure on skates.
- Every Friday night from July through to October the skate rink holds Lola Star's Dreamland Roller Disco. The theme of this night of entertainment changes every week though performances often involve live DJs, roller disco dancing, contests, giveaways and arts performances.
