Kruger's Farm

Activity Overview

Kruger's farm market in Sauvie Island, Portland, OR is a working 150-acre farm that sells fresh, organic produce including fruits and vegetables. Kruger's farm is located just 12 miles from Downtown Portland, visitors can come and pick up berries and tomatoes from the farm. Visitors can buy fresh local grown produce from the farm stands. Music concerts are held in the farm in the Summers. Families can visit and enjoy picking up fruits, and other activities at the farm. Pumpkin patch and corn maze is offered in the Halloween season. Kruger's farm is open to visitors April through November.

Things to Do

• Families enjoy coming together and picking up fruits and veggies from the farm fields in the U-pick activity. Many fruits and vegetables grow in each month of the growing season.
• Pick up seasonal crops including, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, marionberries, blackberries, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, kale, apples, peaches, pears, beans, onions, cucumber and many more.
• If the delicious fruits and nutritious veggies were not enough, you can pick up flowers, many flowers grow for the U-cut flower activity, dahlias, sunflowers and more from July through September.
• Families can have a picnic under the Oak trees in the farm, food is available at Phil's Grill mostly on weekends including hot dogs, hamburgers, and roasted corn.
• The farm stand sells hand-picked fruits and veggies, plus jams & jellies, drinks and ice cream.
