Things to Do

• Tours offered at the Museum give you an insight into the goings-on at Churchill Downs that is rarely afforded to visitors. The Historic Walking Tour will give you a background on the Downs and its significance in racing history.
• The Barn and Backside Van Tour takes you for a drive around the Barns of the venue where some of the finest thoroughbred horses in the world are kept. In October the Horses & Haunts Tour explores Churchill Downs' spooky past.
• To make a visit to the Museum more interesting for younger visitors you can take part in a few activities with them. When you arrive ask for a Museum map that contains fun trivia; answer all the questions and hand it back to the customer service desk for a prize! Either before or after your visit you can download a crossword and a coloring page related to the Museum too.

• Children under 5 are granted entry to the Museum for free.
• There is parking directly in front of the Museum. Usually this is free however there is a charge on race days during Churchill Downs meets. You can find a parking map for the venue here.
