- Visit the house and go on a tour from 10AM-5PM on Mondays-Saturdays or 12PM-5PM on Sundays. You may choose to go on self-guided tour or go with the other guests and listen to the tour guide. The docents are very knowledgeable and share a good interpretation of the history of the house and its owners.
- Pay close attention to the fine details of the architecture in the door and window structures and ceilings. Most reviews cite the central staircase as one of the highlights of the house. The paint in the rooms have been restored to their original color schemes to give an authentic experience of the house in the old days.
