Concoct your very own face paint right in your own home with a few simple ingredients and steps . This craft contains washable paint as the ingredient for color, so the colors will not stain and be difficult to remove from your clothing or skin. It simply washes away with soap and water.
Make any day an occasion to decorate with face paint. If you are very brave, after you help your child apply his or her face paint, allow them to paint your face as well. Proudly take pictures of both of your masterpieces and create lasting memories that you will always smile back on.
Materials Needed
- Corn starch
- Face lotion
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
- Washable paint
- Small containers
- Spoons
- Small bowl
- Cotton swabs or paintbrushes or sponges
How to Make It
- Combine 1 cup of corn starch with 1 cup of face lotion.
- Stir well with a spoon.
- Scoop a spoonful of this mixture into each of your small cups or containers.
- Add 1 squirt or small dollop of washable paint of a different color into each container and mix each color well. Add more to attain desired color if you'd like.
- Apply to face with a paintbrush or cotton swab or sponges
- If the mixture is too thick, add a couple of drops of water and mix well.
