- Not sure where to park? There's often space on Lake Hollywood Drive near the gated entrance to the reservoir.
- Don't be tempted to bring your dog along on your family excursion - dogs are not allowed into the reservoir area since it is part of the city's water storage and supply system.
- Visit nearby Griffith Park, the largest park in Los Angeles, for even more nature sightseeing. Family-friendly activities you can do at the park include swimming, horseback riding, jogging, camping, and playing tennis.
