The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is a historic house in Cincinnati, Ohio that was once the home of abolitionist and author Harriet Beecher Stowe, who is best known for her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. Her family lived in the house from 1832 until the early 1850s, when they moved and she began writing her famous novel based on her experiences. Today, visitors can learn all about Stowe, her family, and her impact on the abolition of slavery while touring the house and viewing its exhibits.
