The Hammer Museum is a free art museum in Los Angeles, California that is affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to being the home of the personal art collection of businessman Armand Hammer, it also features a fascinating collection that showcases the works of renowned artists as well as emerging contemporary artists. Visitors are welcome to explore its galleries filled with paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints as well as attend the museum's frequent public programs.

Things to Do

• Explore the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden, which features over 70 outdoor sculptures, including works by Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, and Alexander Calder.
• View the artwork in the Armand Hammer Collection, which includes pieces from the 16th through 20th centuries by artists such as Degas, Gauguin, Monet, and Toulouse-Lautrec.
• Learn more about the artwork on display by taking one of their free Exhibition Tours, which take place at 1:00 p.m. each Saturday.
