Experience one of the last well-protected natural areas in Miami-Dade at the hammock at Greynolds Park. Take the entire family out for a memorable in the 249-acre park that includes a wide variety of habitats such as mangrove forests and hardwood hammock.

Greynolds Park is an urban park located in North Miami Beach, on a territory that was once home to the Tequesta Indians. Today, you can come here to explore the beautiful nature and rent a paddleboat, kayak, or canoe. Volleyball courts are also available. For the children, there are numerous activities to try, which include several playgrounds, walking the nature trails, bike riding, and more.

Things to Do

  • Have a BBQ in one of the special areas provided in Greynolds Park.
  • Take one of the eco-tours offered by the management of the park. These allow you to explore the mangrove boardwalk, rookery, paved path, historical boathouse and observation mound.
  • Cabins are available for rental for those who want to spend the night in the park or host various events such as birthday parties.

Greynolds Park Insider Tips

  • Kayak, canoe and paddleboat rentals are usually only available on weekends and holidays.
  • There is no entrance fee during the week.
  • Greynolds Park is home to numerous raccoons, which are fun to watch, but make sure little children do not get in contact with them.
