Activity Overview
Of the many wading pools and sprayparks found around Seattle those found in the Green Lake Park are amongst the best. On sunny days when the temperature hits above 70 degrees these pools are filled to be used and enjoyed by everyone. Seeing as they are filled with chlorinated water and emptied at the end of every day they provide a clean and safe environment for your children to have fun in.
Things to Do
- The wading pool is the largest in the city and is understandably popular on hot summer days. Kids and adults alike can splash around and play in the shallow pool surrounded by a family friendly atmosphere.
- All Seattle's pools attempt to conserve water by only half filling up on the day's that are less busy though on the busy days they fill it right up to the top! Plus if enough families go to the wading pool instead of making their own pools in their back garden then it actually saves a large amount of water helping the city's efforts even further.
- There is plenty more to keep you occupied from the wading pool and spraypark at Green Lake Park. You can see what is going on at the community center, swim in the indoor pool, play pitch and putt and basketball or head to the Bathhouse Theatre.
