Frying Pan Farm Park
Activity OverviewA park aimed at preserving a 1920s-1950s working farm. Piglets, sheeps, goats, horses, turkeys, ducks and peacocks all live here. Things to See & DoStart your visit at the Frying Pan Farm Park Visitor Center where you will find information, brochures and a site map. On site visitors can see daily cow milkings, take a wagon ride, enjoy a spin on the carousel, or peruse the wares in the country store. The Frying Pan Farmers Market brings locally grown farm fresh produce, baked goods and potted herbs to the park on Wednesdays, May through October. Stop by for new and heirloom varieties of fruits, tomatoes and vegetables, seasonal flowers, tantalizing aromas from baked breads, tarts, scones and cookies, as well as a variety of potted herbs for your kitchen garden. Great special events such as a summer concert series, a huge 4-H fair and carnival every August, horse shows in the indoor and outdoor arenas. “Boo on the Farm” at Halloween is a favorite with families & kids as well as the “Putting the Animals to Bed” event held several times a year.
