Activity Overview

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is an art museum in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. It is located inside a beautiful historic U.S. Post Office building that was constructed in the 1930s and has been used as an art museum since 2001. It contains a number of galleries that feature temporary exhibitions of all kinds, including artwork by both international and local artists.

Best of all, admission for visitors 18 and under is always free, making the museum an affordable attraction for both large and small families. If you're looking for a great place to teach your children about the beauty and importance of art, consider a visit to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
