Franconia Sculpture Park
Activity OverviewIf you're looking for something for you and your family to enjoy around Minnesota, consider heading an hour outside of the Twin Cities to the Franconia Sculpture Park in Franconia. The park is a great way to spend a day outside when the weather's nice and to also appreciate fine examples of engaging and fascinating sculpture. Like most sculpture parks, Franconia Sculpture Park is free to visit and open during daylight hours, every day of the year. The park was first opened in 1996 with the intention of providing the artistic community in the area with an open space to work and to also provide ambitious artists with the necessary funding to create their works and a space to exhibit them. After 10 years, the park moved from its original location after to a larger area just two miles away. Things to Do
