The Fort Sam Houston Quadrangle is the oldest building at Fort Sam Houston, an important United States Army headquarters located in San Antonio, Texas. It was constructed in 1876 and is considered to be one of the most important historical sites in the city after the Alamo. It housed the famous Apache leader Geronimo early in its history, and has also been the home of notable military personnel such as Dwight D. Eisenhower. Today, visitors can view the historic building, explore its exhibits, and see a wide variety of animals such as deer and peacocks that live in the Quadrangle.
