If you're looking for something to do and a way to cool off, why not consider the Folsom Aquatic Center? You and your family can head along any day of the year as the center is open year-round. Whether you feel like a serious swim or just like splashing around, it's a great active day out for you and the little ones.
The Folsom Aquatic Center is more than just a pool and you'll see why when you visit. While you can of course just go swimming, there are also games, slides, assault courses, and more!
Things to Do
- Go swimming. If you or any of your family just want a bit of exercise, you should head along to the aquatic center for lap swimming in an Olympic-size pool.
- If you prefer something a little more relaxed than doing laps, go to the Recreation Swim at the Folsom Aquatic Center. You can do this any day of the week between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
- Anyone over 48" in height can go zooming down the center's slide.
- Has all the exercise made you hungry? Stop at the snack bar for a bite to eat or a refreshment!
- Take on the aquatic assault course! Even when you've finished you can always hang around and enjoy the entertainment of other people trying to complete it!
Folsom Aquatic Center Insider Tips
- Can't swim? Don't worry! Lifejackets are available for non-swimmers. The aquatic center also offers swmming lessons for kids.
- On sunny days and during the summer the center can get busy. Beat the crowds by going for an early swim!
- While not for the kids, the Bark 'n' Splash Bash is available for dogs. If you have a current animal license for your dog, they can come for one special day. Dog owners shouldn't miss it!
