Findlay Market is a popular public market in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio. In fact, it is the oldest continuously-operated public market in all of Ohio, having been founded in 1852 after land was donated by the estate of James Findlay, a former Ohio congressman and Cincinnati mayor.

Located in Cincinnati's beautiful Over-the-Rhine historic neighborhood, Findlay Market is known for its wide variety of vendors. It's a great place for the whole family to see, taste, and buy healthy local foods.

Things to Do

• Visit Findlay Market to buy fresh meat, fish, produce, cheese, poultry and flowers. Other market vendors sell items like homemade chocolates, pies, Chinese food, jewelry, pizza, and beer.
• Between the wintertime months of December and March visit the Winter Farmers' Market, where you can find fresh meat and produce inside a warm building. It is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sundays.
• Don't miss the Gold Star Chili Cook-Off held at Findlay Market in January. Each year, 30 local chili lovers are chosen as contestants who compete for the Chili Meister crown. The event features live music and is open to the public for free chili tasting, so come with an appetite!
