Activity Overview
Entergy IMAX Theatre is located adjacent to the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium, and Butterfly Garden. Movie tickets are sold separately or as part of the Audubon Experience package. The movies shown are all child-friendly, with topics ranging from mammals up to hurricanes and occurrences in nature. The theatre is huge, well-maintained, run by a friendly staff, and equipped with plush seats to make your viewing experience more comfortable and memorable.
Things to Do
- Visit their website and check out what's showing at the theatre, including the screening times. Kids will surely be thrilled to see animals in a larger-than-life screen combined with crisp and clear sound effects. Some of the movies include Humpback Whales, Animal Kingdom, and Great White Shark all shown in 3D.
- A waiter will be waiting for you once you get inside the theatre. Check the menu and order snacks. The theater serves popcorn, chips, soda, juices, and beer too!
- Avail of an Audubon Experience package or any of the combo packages and end your nature tour with an IMAX movie.
Entergy IMAX Theatre Insider Tips
- Food is a little expensive. It might be a good idea to bring bottled water from the outside and just order popcorn from the menu.
- Parking is a block away from the theatre. Make sure to be there in time for the start of the movie.
